Two Oliver brothers came here from England. ANTHONY OLIVER,born 1808,

in England, and died between 1881 – 1901, and his brother ANDERSON F OLIVER,

 born 1811 in England.In 1881 ANDERSON F OLIVER was living with James Oliver.

Found anthony is "Early Cape Breton Newspapers" published by Genealogy

Society as "Anthony Oliver, River Inhabitants - field agent for Morrison's Medicines in 1846.

In 1850 an article "Brigs owned by Anthony Oliver"Anthony is listed on
                           Nova Scotia Directory for Lower River Inhabitants in 1871. Nova Scotia Genealogical Research Library, Toronto 1984 Page 157
                           Also Alpines City Directory Page 591 pf Richmond County, Port Port 
Richmond along with James A Oliver.
In 1881 Anthony is
                           listed as Head of Household with Caroline who is widowed and his family. She is John's wife.Anthony is not in 1901 CensusSo
                           Anthony must have gone to Nova Scotia between 1830-1871 since John was born in 1830 in Nova Scotia.
Not sure if Anthony, James and Anderson are brothers
